HealthPartners’ drug decision support tool offers countless benefits. You can easily find what your copay costs will be, discover ways to save on your prescriptions, research drugs and more. Here are just a few features:
Pharmacies can set their own prices for medicines. They have to stay within a certain range based on the type of medicine it is and agreements they have with your health insurance plan. Manufacturing shortages and supply issues can also affect medicine prices.
The price estimates you see are based on your insurance plan and pharmacy information at the time of your search. Medicine prices and availability can change often. Check back from time to time to see if there’s a better price at another pharmacy.
Review your prescriptions and pick the ones you want to transfer. Choose your new pharmacy. We’ll fax your request and insurance information to your new pharmacy so they can prepare your prescription. They should follow up with you, but we’ll give you their information as well so you can contact them if needed.
Please note that controlled substances (ex. Adderall) can’t be transferred.
We can help you update your contact information. Call the Member Services number listed on the back of your member ID card for more help.
This is the discounted cost that is a combination of your cost plus the insurance cost. Depending on the type of plan you have, your insurance might pay none, some, or all of this total cost.
